About

For someone you love, or someone you miss.

One Million Hearts is a public wall of hearts. Each heart is one short note: to someone you love, or someone you miss. You write it. We look at it. Then it lives on the wall, where anyone can read it.

What a heart is

Coral

For them

A few honest lines. To someone you love, or someone you miss.

Rose

Somewhere still

Where the words can wait. When they look, or when you do.

Lilac

Found again

Anyone who comes looking can read it. Yours, in public.

Someone writing a short note at a table.

Why a wall

Some words do not belong in a chat that disappears. They do not belong in a card that goes in a drawer. They belong somewhere still — a few honest lines, in public, that can be found again.

One million

The aim is one million of those, for the life of the wall. Not a million accounts. A million notes someone chose to keep. A free heart is visible for a little while. A forever heart stays, takes a number of its own, and counts toward the million hearts. When that million is full, no more forever hearts.

Coral

A free heart

Visible on the wall for 30 days.

Coral

A forever heart

It stays on the wall forever. It is assigned a number, and it counts toward the million hearts. For only $3.

A heart left on a windowsill, a village street outside.

Who is this for?

This is for you if you have someone. Someone you love, or someone you miss. A parent, a friend, a love, a name you still say. It is not for dating, not for selling, not for performing grief. You write as though they will read it, and as though a stranger already can.

For

Someone you love, or someone you miss. A parent, a friend, a love, a name you still say.

Keep it kind

The wall only works if it stays a place for love. The rest of the rules live in the Terms.

Rose

At least 16

You need to be at least 16 to put a heart on the wall. When you do, you are also agreeing to our Terms.

Lilac

Keep it private

No addresses, phone numbers, or anything that belongs only to you and them. Someone else’s private life is not yours to put on display.
